Liverpool are going to sign the new right-back!!
Liverpool are finally going to sign the first player for the summer. He is the Basel's right-back, Phillip Degen. He is from Switzerland and i think i saw him playing during the euro2008...i think. He is going to sign the contract when the transfer market starts on July 1 and become officially, a Liverpool player.
LIverpool is going to sign Gareth Barry too...hopefully. They are taking a very long time to decide the transfer bid.
Liverpool is also looking to improve on the flanks too, with Spain's winger Silva in sight. If you dont know him, he is currently in Valencia now but he is on international duty, playing for Spain now. He is a first-team player for Spain and he provided for Torres in the second game against Sweden. All i can tell you is that he is a extremely talented youngster with an extremely bright future.
